Who is Ekua?
Hi, I’m Ekua Walker, A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified in Primary Care Pediatrics! I was first trained at Stanford University and then at UC San Francisco for my Advanced Practicing Nurse degree.
I have been devoted to helping children and parents build healthy relationships and guiding parents towards developing healthy, CALM and positive relationships with their children for more than a decade!
I also have coaching experience as a Clinical Health Educator for Kaiser Permanente and manage complex behavior medical management of dual-diagnosis, low-income children at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.
My strength is in helping parents train in mindfulness-based parenting strategies needed to implement treatment plans - so that every behavior challenge your child may have can be turned into a hopeful opportunity for them, bringing less frustration and more JOY into your family time!
